Hot topic this long weekend in Ennismore, people are still waiting for judges to decide the winner: the most amazing and spectacular scarecrow contest I’ve ever seen, no wonder why it is hard to decide on the winners.
Few of the rules®ulations:
- To build a scarecrow on a property, but must be visible from the road.
- The scarecrows can be any size or shape, but must be homemade.
- Scarecows will be judged in two categories:
- Traditional (clasic scarecrow)
- Non-traditional (theme based, celebrity, cartoon/movie/character, animal, occupation, etc)
- Scarecrows should be family friendly
These are only few of the many scarecrows across the village, I will let the pictures tell you everything.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
My favorite was the mechanics, Christie. We too, have a scarecrow building contest in our neck of the woods. And I can’t help but wonder what a un-family friendly scarecrow would look like. 🙂 –Curt
