      1. I always want to be somewhere like this for the Fall colours, but I never manage it. It’s mild and beautiful in the Algarve but without the drama, and we always have visitors at this time of year xx

      1. Peggy and I once took a year off to explore America. We were in Alaska in August to enjoy the fall colors and then worked our way south across the northern US/southern Canada to Maine and then down through New England to the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky mountains. We had three months of beautiful leaves! Never can get too many, unless your job is to rake them.

  1. These are such beautiful photos. I have always loved and appreciated autumn colours for their rich, warm, and vibrant hues like reds, oranges, and yellows that appear on leaves. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

    1. Thank you, Aiva! We had a very dry summer here and some trees lost their foliage before September. But then in mid-September everything came back to life, and I was so surprised to see how well the nature revived, bringing everything back to life!
      Life is amazing, isn’t it?❤️
Have a lovely rest of the week! xx

  2. Christie, Loved the photos you selected, but curious where they were taken? We’ve been blessed with an extraordinarily beautiful fall this year in Denver, too. NOT looking forward to snow anytime soon, as we’ve been spoiled!

    1. I took most of the photos around Peterborough, ON, where we currently live, and two of them in Algonquin park where we did some amazing hiking in late September. Indeed, we’ve been spoiled with a beautiful fall this year🥰
      Cheers! xx
