Grateful for a white Christmas and so much more

Hope everyone had a safe and jolly Christmas, and Happy Holidays, in spite of the new lockdowns in different parts of the world. Although not everyone had the family or friends nearby, I do hope they were close in spirit, and well wherever they were.

I feel so grateful we’ve had my close family near us for this Christmas, a different one, but a happy one. We are grateful we were able to share the food and the jokes, the cheers, and the love.

Grateful we’ve been pretty healthy through the year; grateful we have our jobs back.  Grateful for the sunny days, grateful for the rainy days. And the rainbows. Grateful for the lockdowns (just a bit!!), as they gave us a chance to ponder and slow down our fast-paced lives. Grateful to be able to do some birdwatching in my own yard (and not only). Grateful for our family and friends, and for the new ones.

And what could have been better on a Christmas day than watching how the snow is covering the ground, what more could one ask for?

The last, but not the least, I am grateful to all my supporters, fellow bloggers. Thank you for stopping by, reading, or commenting over the year! I wish you a wonderful 2021, a Happy and Healthy New year!

Wherever you are, wherever you go, have safe and happy travels!!

xoxo

  2. 2020 has sure been a dumpster fire of year, but there is definitely a lot to feel grateful for. I’m so happy we finally had a white Christmas this year. The snow was just beautiful. Enjoy the rest of your holidays and have a happy New Year. Cheers!

    1. The snow had just a great timing to arrive, and it was just beautiful, isn’t it? Thank you for all your support along the year, and maybe we can meet for a coffee, one day, after the pandemic ends. Best wishes for 2021!

    1. I have always appreciated a touch of white on the Christmas day🙂 I have actually grew up with tons of snow every winter, that I am saddened sometimes how much the climate has changed in a such short amount of time. But I hope for the best!! Cheers!

      1. We are lucky to get a foot or two a couple of times a year, Christie. But that’s a lot more than we got when I was a kid. We do get to watch the snow cover the mountains that are about 10 miles away from where we live, now. –Curt

      2. It is really interesting that there is actually a place that is getting more snow than xx years ago, I didn’t think about that. Glad to hear the snow is still going somewhere🙂
No complaint about the snow where we live now either, we had to buy a telescopic roof rake last winter for the cottage, it was too much LOL

      3. Yeah. :)Ffirst there is fun and then there is clearing driveways, walkways, roofs, and cars. In the early 80s I hung out at a cabin in the Sierras where our cars would disappear over night! We had to put bamboo poles around the cars so the snow blowers would eat them!
